     2006年12月5日至7日，由国际石油工程师学会（SPE）和中国石油学会（CPS）主办的“中国国际石油天然气会议暨展览会”在北京国际会议中心隆重举行。大会得到了中国石油天然气集团公司（CNPC）、中国石油化工集团公司（SINOPEC）中国海洋石油有限公司（CNOOC）的赞助。

     本届大会参展单位30多家，中国的中石油，中石化等大公司和来自世界各地的大企业及跨国企业像GNT、Smith Inc、Schlumberger、CABOT，Total等都有参展。这些企业将本公司的不同语言的宣传资料及部分设备产品展示给会议交流代表，推进了国际间的交流与合作。

     本次会议举办了包括3个主题午宴演讲，3场技术论坛会议，20场技术专题会议，发表了共100多场演讲，展示了100多篇专业论文。突出了会议的主题“保持石油天然气的可持续发展”；反映了国际石油天然气行业的先进水平和最新动态，预计未来将会对石油天然气行业的科学研究和工程技术发展具有较大影响。

 International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition inChinahave been hosted by SPE and the Chinese Petroleum Society (CPS) atBeijingInternationalConvention Center, 5-7 December 2006. This event have the full cooperation and support of the China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), the China Petroleum and Chemical Corp. (SINOPEC) and the China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC).

 More than thirty corporations came from all over the world，including GNT、Smith Inc、Schlumberger、CABOT，Total and many Chinese enterprises such as CNPC and SINOPEC and so on. All these exhibitors pushed international exchange and cooperation through displaying products and brochure.   

 Keynotes on this event have been delivered by senior executives from major oil and gas organizations. The technical program includes daily topical luncheons, three panel sessions, 20 technical sessions consisting of over 100 presentations and more than 100 technical papers. The theme of the conference is Sustainable Growth for Oil and Gas, it shows the latest tendency and advanced level in international oil and gas profession and we expect the good influence for science research and engineering in this profession.
